FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q1. When is the office open?
A1. The office is open 10am - 6pm Monday - Friday.

Q2. When can I pick up my tickets?
A2. You can pick them your tickets from the Box Office, which opens at the bar 45 mins before the performance.

Q3. Is there disabled access at the theatre?
A3. Yes. The theatre is on the ground floor, we can accommodate wheelchair users if we know you are coming in advance, please call 0207 226 8561. There is also a disabled access toilet on the ground floor.

Q4. How do I book tickets?
A4. Click on the show you want to see on the Homepage or the What's On section, this will take you directly to an information & booking page, where you can select the dates you want. Or call 0207 478 0160.

Q5. Is there a booking fee?
A5. Yes, there is a booking fee of £1.50 (which is comprised of an administration fee of £1.00 plus a restoration levy of 50p, which goes directly to preserving the heritage of the King's Head Theatre). This is automatically added to your booking online and when you book by telephone. If you book in person at the King's Head Theatre then you only pay the 50p restoration levy per ticket and not the £1.00 booking fee.

Q6. What is your concessionary policy?
A6. We offer concession price tickets for those who are eligible for one of the following categories;

·        Children aged 16 and under

·        Students in full-time education

·        ES40 claimants (incapacity benefit)

·        Disability Benefit claimants

·        Senior Citizens (over 60)

·        Equity, BECTU, MU and other entertainment union members in full benefit on Sunday matinees only

We regret that if you are unable to provide appropriate identification, or if your identification is out-of-date, the full ticket price will be charged.

Q7. I would like to come and audition for productions at The King's Head, what do I do?
A6. If you are an opera singer, you can send your CV to us at casting@kingsheadtheatre.com and we will add you to our database of singers seeking casting opportunities. For all other productions, we do all of our casting directly through Spotlight.

Q8. Where are you located?
A7. 115 Upper Street, Islington, N1 1QN. 10 mins right out of Angel station (Northern Line - Bank Branch) and 10 minutes right out of Highbury & Islington station (Overground, Victoria Line & National Rail)

Q9. Can I buy supper in the pub before the show?
A8. No, the pub does not sell meals at the moment, but does sell delicious real ales.

Q10. How can I produce something with the King's Head Theatre?
A10. We do actively seek to produce new musicals and operas which we work on a co-production basis. If you are interested in producing with us, please send us details of the number of performers, potential running time, marketing plans, and details of your existing team. Please attach a copy of the script and a cover letter and send to Rachel Lerman on rachel.lerman@kingsheadtheatre.com.
 
Q11. Do you accept scripts for submission?
 We are not accepting any scripts for submission at this time. We are currently reviewing our policy so please check back within the next few months for more information.
 
Q12. If I invite you to a show I am in/have produced/directed/written, will someone be able to attend?
 Please do send us invites for anything you think we may be interested in. We will endevour to make sure that a member of our team can attend. Send all invitations to info@kingsheadtheatre.com and they will be forwarded on to the Artistic team.
