La Scala, Milan. The Met, New York. The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. Great opera houses all play their shows in repertoire.
Which means you can choose from several different productions in a week - or over a season. And it also means that years later you can revisit your favourite productions.
Well... if it's good enough for La Scala Milan, then we say it's good enough for London's Little Opera House at the King's Head, Islington.
From now on we'll be playing all our shows 'in rep'. Which means you can pick up a Puccini on a Tuesday, a Rossini on a Thursday and a Monteverdi on a Saturday. And, if you want to come back and bring a group of friends or colleagues to see your favourite show, It will be playing over several months or - if the audience want it - over several years.
We'll be mixing up the most popular operas with new pieces and rediscoveries, all of them performed by Opera Up Close's amazingly talented pool of singers. So take a look over our schedule for the month and come to as many different shows as you like, all for a very reasonable price.
Every night is different at London's Little Opera House. So why come once when you can come again and again?
