Adam Spreadbury-Maher

Artistic Director

Adam Spreadbury-Maher is an award-winning director and producer. He is the founding Artistic Director of the Cock Tavern Theatre, OperaUpClose and the Hope Theatre. In 2009 he produced La bohème at the Cock Tavern and Soho Theatres, winner of the Olivier Award for Best Opera. His directing highlights at the King's Head Theatre include Trainspotting, Strangers in Between and La bohème. In 2010 he became Artistic Director of the King’s Head and won Best Artistic Director in the Fringe Report Awards. In 2011 he was nominated for Best Director in the Off-West End Awards.
